Story

Handcrafted from a solid block of white marble, our shave bowl is designed to make a handsome addition to any bathroom. Micro-ridges on the interior surface of the bowl whip up a soft, pillowy lather in seconds.

Marble is a superior retainer of heat, perfect for keeping your lather warm for up to three times longer than ceramic. Just add some Ultra Lather Shaving Cream to the bowl and whip up a lather with your shaving brush.

Subtle, pale gray markings intrinsic to the stone give depth and dimension. Crafted entirely by hand and polished to a lustrous finish.

Features

Marble has a thermal conductivity three times greater than ceramic, which means it holds a hot lather longer. Warm up your bowl by filling it with hot water and letting it soak for a minute or so while you prep for your shave.

Bubbling bowls have room for improvement

Very beautiful blister bowl.
According to my experience, the bottom of the bowl is rough and fine, and it is easy to scrape the bristles. I always feel that it has room for improvement.

Beautifully crafted bowl but...

This bowl is well made , solid but not to heavy, fits in hand well,ridges are a little on the fine size like another review has said, but I don't know how much difference that would make. The only thing that I question is that when I soak the bowl in very hot water the bowl definitely holds the heat, very warm as I hold it in the palm of my hand but it doesn't seem to transfer all that heat to the lather! Not that the lather is cold but not even close to how warm the bowl is. Now that I said that I still Love this bowl!

Nice Bowl - Needs Deeper Ridges

The bowl is heavier and of a better quality than I expected. Well worth the money spent. Only drawback for me is that the bowl's "ridges" are so minute that they do not contribute anything to the generation of lather. My ceramic bowl has ridges that you can see, feel and are prominent

Regardless, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys a wet shave using a brush and bowl.

As far as rocks go, this one is good

The expectation has been met. I was both surprised that it was thicker and heavier than I expected. The good news is that means there’s more like to retain the heat keep the water warm. Happy with the purchase, would do again. Do wish the sides were about a half inch higher
